Members of the Resilient HydroTwin project team recently participated in the first-ever PhD Spring School on Urban Digital Twins: Futureproofing and Resilience for Cities and Infrastructure, organized by Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), the KTU Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, and the Centre for Smart Cities and Infrastructure, and proudly supported by our project partner, Bentley Systems.

We are proud to share that Resilient HydroTwin was featured as a case study challenge during the Spring School. This provided an exciting opportunity to introduce our project to an international research community, gain fresh insights, and spark new ideas for collaboration.

Throughout the week, PhD students from across world came together to develop digital twin-based solutions to urban challenges. The teams presented brilliant and forward-thinking ideas for applying digital twin technologies to improve urban resilience, ranging from flood and crisis management to heritage preservation.

A heartfelt thank you to the organizers, mentors, and participants for an inspiring and impactful event. We look forward to continuing this momentum as we work together toward building more resilient cities.
